The guide vane casting is a critical component of the power system in water jet propulsion devices, operating under harsh conditions and subjected to long-term erosion from high-speed fluid flow. The material must exhibit excellent mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, and a dense microstructure. Our technical team successfully achieved a one-time casting of the guide vane by employing a well-designed gating and riser system, a rapid cooling system, and advanced 3D printing technology for the sand core. Additionally, by controlling alloy composition, solution treatment temperature, and utilizing an AOD refining furnace, the quality of the casting meets all required control standards.
